In this exciting acrylic painting class, kids will dive into bold colors and creative expression! Students will learn basic painting skills such as mixing colors, using different brush techniques, and building layers to create vibrant artwork. Guided step by step, kids will paint fun subjects like animals, nature scenes, and imaginative designs while adding their own creative twists. This class is perfect for beginners and young artists alike—no prior experience needed. All materials are provided, and each child will go home with a finished painting and a great sense of accomplishment.
Hi! My name is Lucretia Johnson. I am an Intervention teacher in Monticello and previously an art teacher. I am excited to join NWTA this summer. I love being creative and developing new art. I love reading mysteries, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with my family.
