Are you ready to be surrounded by chocolate treats, chocolate themed science activities and a literary biography that revolve around chocolate? In this four day course you will participate in a book study about Milton Hershey that will give students the opportunity to take events from the story and explore them in cooking lessons, science experiments and art projects. We will also explore the history of the cacao bean, take a virtual field to Hershey PA, sample chocolate foods and so much more!

Hello! I currently teach in the Elk River School District. In my 30+ years of teaching I have done it all from teaching early elementary students to middle school to working at the district level. I'm back in the classroom because I love taking lessons and spinning them into fun, creative ways to learn. I believe students learn best when given the experience of hands on opportunities. When not working with children I enjoy traveling with my husband and 4 dogs.
