Did you know that in 2028, flag football will be an olympic sport? In this flag football league, boys and girls 2nd through 7th grade will enjoy learning the basics of a national pastime. This NFL sanctioned league begins with a 15 minute practice and a 40 minute game, each Saturday starting September 7th and ending October 12th. All players will have the opportunity to throw, run and catch the ball, as it is our hope for each kid to have FUN! Here are some things to know…

• Athletes play in leagues according to their grade in school for the upcoming year. 2nd and 3rd graders play together in one league, 4th and 5th graders play together in another and 6th and 7th graders unite for the oldest league. PLEASE INDICATE THE GRADE OF THE CHILD FOR THE 2024/2025 SCHOOL YEAR!
• All participants will receive an NFL identified reversible jersey and official NFL FLAG football belt and flags. Be sure to indicate the correct size jersey needed for your athlete. Use the athlete's size of t-shirt to determine jersey size.
• An informational meeting will be held September 7th for all players and coaches at the first session
• In accordance with official NFL FLAG football rules and regulations, all participants must wear a mouth guard. Football or soccer cleats are encouraged, however metal baseball cleats are not allowed.
• Teams are made at random. However, if your son or daughter would like to be on the same team as a friend, please indicate in the notes and we will try to accommodate. Constructing super teams will not be allowed.
• VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!Please consider helping out with your child’s team, especially at the 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade teams. Coaches are awarded a $25 credit to be applied to a Community Ed class of their choice. (Psst… it is really easy and fun.)
