Calling all Monticello Middle School actors and singers in grades 6-8!

Leapin' Lizards! Monticello Middle School will present Annie JR., the musical on April 24, 25 and 26, 2025 at Monticello Middle School.

Annie JR. follows the story of an orphan named Annie living a “hard-knock life” at The New York City Municipal Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and takes action to find them. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Optional Audition Workshop: Feb. 13 3:00-4:00 PM

*Bring a list of any conflicts you have with rehearsals. (See rehearsal dates below.) We can schedule around a few conflicts, but many conflicts will affect casting.

*ALL actors MUST be present for ALL dress rehearsals, performances and strike (clean-up after final performance).

Rehearsals commence on February 24, 2025 and will run M-Th from 3:00-4:30 PM. Some rehearsals may only need certain characters.*If cast, students are required to attend all rehearsals necessary for their character unless special arrangements have been made with the directors.
