Ready to step into the magical world of Harry Potter? Whether you want to read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time, or you're looking for an in-depth re-read of the first Harry Potter book, this class has something for everyone! Over the course of the week, we will read and listen to the full book. Between chapters, each day will be packed with a variety of activities related to what we have read. Activities throughout the week may include: character discussions, crafts, themed snacks, debates, art, trivia, fan fiction writing, Latin origins of spells and character names, making troll boogers (slime), and more. If you love immersing yourself in the magical world of reading, this class is for you!
My name is Megan Huhta, and I am a speech-language pathologist at Pinewood Elementary in Monticello. This is my third year teaching at NWTA, and I am so excited for more opportunities to be creative with my students! Some of my hobbies include reading, knitting, crafts, stargazing, rock climbing, Harry Potter, and Minecraft.
