Clay, Clay, Clay!! There are sooo many ways to create with clay - making it the most versitile material in the art room. In this course artists will get a chance to explore a variety of different clay mediums such as: air dry clay, modeling clay, paper clay, model magic, and more. All projects will use a variety of handbuilding techniques to create three dimensional masterpieces challenging skills and creativity to max. Let's get those hands dirty and dig into clay together!
Hi I am Leah Schultz ! I have been an elementary art teacher in the Elk River School district for 20+ years and there is nothing I would rather do! I love to show my students new and creative ways to use art materials. Those surprise, magical art moments are my Favorite!! My students learn to apply their own art ideas and not to be afraid to get those hands messy. Let's start creating!
