Have you been wanting to learn to play the guitar? Do you have a bit of guitar knowledge and want to level up your skills? In Guitar Fun-damentals, we will learn the basic chords that can get you started playing a song you love. Through learning to tune a guitar, chord practice, and new strumming patterns, you will have the skills to continue learning new songs and develop the technique of playing guitar. Guitars are provided, but you may bring your own to learn on if desired.
Hello! My name is Ash Bangia, and I teach Music at the Eastview Education Center in Monticello. I am excited to share my love of music and storytelling this summer. I grew up in Buffalo, NY, and graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Music Education. I have hosted and attended workshops for music composition, instrumental performance, and creative writing. Outside of school, I love reading, listening to live music, making art, and being outdoors. I live with my partner and an adorable cat and bunny.
