MHS MontiArts art club is for 9-12th grade students who attend Monticello High School. It is a great opportunity for students who are looking to create a variety of art forms while being in the company of peers. Each week, students are encouraged to bring anything they are working on and many supplies will be available at no charge from MontiArts. (montiarts.com) There will be a variety of optional projects throughout the year (mural projects, card making, glow parade, etc) This activity takes place in the MontiArts Building (349 W Broadway) in downtown Monticello. A limited amount of spots are available via High School Bus #39. Please email me if your student is in need of bus transportation. Students are encouraged to drive or find rides if possible/able. "**All students will need to have transportation at the end of art club each day at 5:30pm as no buses/rides are provided". Contact: Ben Lundquist at ben.lundquist@monticello.k12.mn.us Expectations: Students must sign the City of Monticello's Code of Conduct at their first Club in MontiArts' building and will be expected to maintain a positive, generative environment where creative expression is appreciated and celebrated. Students who cannot engage with peers in this positive manner may be asked to take a week off or may be removed from Art Club if necessary. Cost: $40 ( This money covers snacks, which will be provided each week. There may be a few scholarships available if money is an issue. Reach out!)
