The train staff will load guests into the dining cars. 11:15 a.m. Depart on the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad.The historic railroad recreates the atmosphere of rail travel using rebuilt cars from 1912 to 1918.Ride the rails to Bean Creek. Participants will write and share their stories with one another in a small group setting, finding new meaning in their life and putting past significant life events in perspective. It is also an ideal way to pass along valuable lessons, stories and history to your family/friends and future generations. NO WRITING EXPERIENCE is necessary. Your Facilitator: Bill Marsella has a passion for helping people share their life stories so they know their lives have made a difference and will be remembered by future generations. Proper attire includes a sneaker or boot (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers depending on the weather. Bug spray, sunscreen, nut-free snacks and a water bottle are also recommended. Please bring a nut-free bagged lunch and plenty of fluids to drink. ASTM/SEI certified helmets are provided. Signed waivers are required before riding. Riding Day Camp (Ages 6-15) TIME: PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. WHAT TO EXPECT: Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! First come first serve. Sale starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. You must clean up your spot and take all unsold items with you. You can bring tables to set up in the open parking spot next to your car. You will man your own sale and get all profits. Bring small bills to make change. If the weather does not look good and rain is predicted we will move to the next weekend May 10th. Minimum of 25 vendors to make the sale a go. If we do not get 25 it will be canceled.
